Perspective Financial Group’s Newcastle Under Lyme office, Ad Valorem Wealth Management Solutions Ltd, has secured Corporate Chartered status.
The achievement by Ad Valorem means it becomes the seventh office within Perspective to be granted the ‘Corporate Chartered Firm’ title by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).
30% of all Perspective’s offices have now attained the Chartered firm grade. This follows on from the recent news that almost all Perspective’s advisers have achieved their Level 4 qualifications with the vast majority also in receipt of their Statements of Professional Standing (SPS).
Ad Valorem was acquired by Perspective Financial Group in May this year and is managed by directors Ceri Robbins and Derek Baptist.
Ad Valorem joins six other Perspective offices holding Corporate Chartered Firm status. They are: Financial Connection Wealth Management, Rutherford Wilkinson, Leedham Independent Financial Advisers, Harrogate Financial Solutions, PIMS and Platinum Portfolios.
Ceri Robbins, director of Ad Valorem Wealth Management Solutions, said: “This is the culmination of a significant amount of work by the Ad Valorem team and we are therefore extremely pleased to have secured our Chartered status.
“From our initial discussions with Perspective we were made aware of how important this achievement is for the entire Group and we have been supported in our endeavours and ambitions. Ad Valorem has always aimed to deliver exceptional advice and service to our clients and achieving Chartered Status is an endorsement of our philosophy.
“We are now in even better shape and we can look forward to a bright future as we move towards the new RDR environment. We are fully focused on maintaining the highest of standards and continuing to deliver the quality advice our client base has come to expect from us.”
Julie Hepworth, group regulatory manager at Perspective Financial Group, added: “This achievement by the team at Ad Valorem is a real positive for Perspective and it is very satisfying to know that 30% of our offices are now Chartered firms. We continue to work with all our firms to achieve our long-term goal of all offices achieving this status. We appear to be ahead of our advisory peer group in this regard and this will remain a key benchmark for Perspective as we move into 2013.
“Not only are we showing the quality and commitment to professionalism of our offices through these accolades but, at an individual adviser level, we are also exceeding the required standards in the new post-RDR environment.
“Almost all our advisers have now achieved the necessary qualifications and obtained their respective SPS, which puts us in a very positive place with just over two months to go until the end of the year. We have always felt RDR presented a huge opportunity for the Group and our offices, and our attitude has not changed; we are looking forward to helping more of our firms achieve Chartered status in the months ahead.”
