Masthaven Finance has appointed Steve Brennan as head of underwriting for its bridging division.
It has also hired Steve Earthy as group compliance officer.
Brennan joins from Credit & Mercantile where he spent over a decade in senior roles and has been in the financial services industry since 1979.
Earthy has spent over 14 years in risk and compliance, including five years with GE Money and latterly more than two years as an independent business consultant.
“Masthaven has always had a policy of employing the best talent, we aim to excel at what we do and this stems from building the right team of people enabling us to deliver a valued service to brokers and their clients of which Masthaven can be proud,” said Andrew Bloom, Masthaven’s managing director.
“Steve Brennan and Steve Earthy each have proven track records in their specialist areas. As Masthaven has grown we are very fortunate to be able to appoint the kind of talent they represent, which will enable us to build on our success.
“We also recognise the contribution and importance of developing our own talent and therefore I’m delighted with a number of well deserved recent promotions. Gemma Salousti and Lizzie Strong have become senior underwriters, Balbir Jassi has become senior servicing and collections adviser and Claudia Cataldo and Anna Meconi have become underwriter and assistant underwriter respectively.”
