Santander has decided to bring all its intermediary product brands together under a new umbrella brand of Santander for Intermediaries.
The move, which will take place on Wednesday 17 July, means the Abbey for Intermediaries distribution brand will be replaced. However, the Abbey mortgage brand will continue to be used, reflecting its strong heritage in the intermediary mortgage market, Santander said.
Santander for Intermediaries will become Santander’s core intermediary brand, offering Abbey mortgages, Cater Allen Private Bank banking and cash management products, and Santander General Insurance, as well as the recently launched intermediary referral platform for Santander Current Accounts.
Intermediaries will be able to access all of Santander for Intermediaries’ products and services via its new website – www.santanderforintermediaries.co.uk – which will also launch on 17 July.
Santander for Intermediaries said it will be supporting intermediaries through this evolution and its sales force will be offering guidance and information on the opportunities and benefits this change will bring for intermediaries and their clients.
